Extra activities & Income generation activities


Sports & other extra activities for Children
The HCCH frequently organizes debate and quiz contest for the children. The organization also organizes swimming for entertainment to the children and initiated personal hygiene competition among the children group. Regular sports competition are organize at the school as the most of the students shows keen interest in the different type of games.

Annual field trip to the Upper Mustang
The HCCH annually organize the field trip around the Upper Mustang for the elderly children group. It is s around two weeks trip on foot trek, horse riding along the foot trail of Lomanthang. The main objectives of the trip is to give better orientation regarding their home land and its attachment to their traditional culture, tradition and religion so that in future they will have strong will to serve for their home land Upper Mustang.




Involve in Environmental protection campaign
The HCCH mobilize its children for the improvement of environmental sanitation with the relevant organizations like Pokhara health project (PHP) and others hence children's participation in such a campaign will greatly enhances their level of environmental conservation and assist to build responsible citizen for resource conservation.
Sewing and art painting training
The HCCH has trained five elder girls on sewing whereas 2 elder boys were trained for arts painting as per their interest.

Saleable item production
The HCCH produced T-shirts and writing pads as saleable items. The organization is aiming to increase different items of saleable things as an income generation activities.

Staffs Training
In order to improve the overall management of the organization Mrs. Jyoti who act as Account and Admin Assistant has received two days training on Children home management on April 21 to 22, 2011 organized by the Children home network of Pokhara.
